As a child, I was utterly obsessed with making things. Each morning was punctuated by the question, “What can I make today?” — a question that, in many ways, I still ask myself as an adult. Over time, the pipe cleaners and glue gave way to a different kind of creating — one where I began to notice and capture the world around me. During my early twenties, I had the privilege of those surroundings expanding considerably through travel. From the balmy tropics of South-East Asia, to trekking through Europe with a backpack over my shoulders, and driving endless days across the barren landscapes of remote Australia, experiencing the diversity of our glorious world first-hand has been the greatest influence on my creative practice. 

My years of travel have also shown me a slower way of life - one where we need less, connect deeper and appreciate the simple things. The faint crackle of vinyl as it floats through the house, tiny sun sparkles on the ocean's surface, the slow hum of my 1980's car and the way afternoon light falls across a room - these seemingly ordinary moments are often where I find the most inspiration. Perhaps this is why I am so drawn to documenting people, too. Natural, human interactions that happen in between the big moments; the laughter that catches someone off guard, the way a person moves through a space and the quiet familiarity of people simply being themselves. It is this appreciation for the everyday that sits at the heart of my approach, as I find myself drawn to imagery that feels lived-in, rather than over produced; refined, but never removed from the person, place or story at its centre. 

Based on the southern end of the Mornington Peninsula, I work across weddings, brands, businesses and lifestyle projects. Through my photography and low-fi content creation work, I aim to foster a more considered digital culture, rooted in a philosophy of capturing beauty, rather than chasing trends. Whether I am documenting a celebration, a thoughtfully designed product or the story of a place, my approach remains the same: to create imagery and content that feels elevated, without losing its humanity.
